The roots of Domaine Amiot-Servelle go back to the early 1920s, when Cl\u00e9ment Tachot began cultivating vineyard parcels in Chambolle-Musigny. In the 1950s, his daughter C\u00e9cile and her husband Jean Servelle carried on the legacy by founding Domaine Tachot-Servelle.<\/p>\n
In 1980, Christian Amiot, son of Pierre Amiot, a winegrower in Morey-Saint-Denis, joined the estate run by his wife Elisabeth Servelle, daughter of Jean and C\u00e9cile. In 1989, Christian and Elisabeth took over the domaine and officially established Domaine Amiot-Servelle.<\/p>\n
They had three children: Prune, Violette and Antoine.Prune earned her degree in oenology in 2004 and, after gaining experience both in France and abroad, returned to the estate in 2011 to help develop the domaine.<\/p>\n
Violette followed her artistic path, becoming a musician and percussion teacher at the regional music academy.<\/p>\n
Antoine studied at the Burgundy School of Business and spent time in Japan exploring the world of sake, then completed his training in viticulture and oenology in Beaune. He joined the estate in 2017.<\/p>\n
Since 2020, Prune and Antoine have taken the lead at the domaine, carrying forward a philosophy rooted in sustainability and environmental respect. No chemical products are used, and every farming decision is guided by care for the soil, the vines and the fruit.<\/p>\n
In 2010, the domaine expanded with key vineyard parcels in Morey-Saint-Denis and Gevrey-Chambertin, including the renowned Clos Saint-Denis and Charmes- Chambertin “En Mazoy\u00e8res”, which further enhanced the estate\u2019s reputation.<\/p>\n
In the cellar, the keyword is precision. As Antoine explains, “once we have harvested excellent grapes, our job is to do everything possible to preserve their integrity and identity”. Fermentation occurs spontaneously, with no filtration or fining, allowing the wine to fully express the character of the terroir.<\/p>\n
Today, Domaine Amiot-Servelle stands as a benchmark in Chambolle-Musigny. Its wines are vibrant, energetic and authentic, just like Prune and Antoine, who carry their family\u2019s legacy forward with passion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
