Vignerons above all, present throughout the year in the vineyards and cellars, the Guinaudeau family has been also the steward of Château Grand Village in Fronsac region since the 17th century.

The incredible complexity of the wines produced at Château Lafleur originates from the unique character of its tiny 4.5 hectares vineyard. A gravel slope to the northwest, a clay-gravel soil toward south, a gravel-sand soil toward the east and a rich vein of clay in the heart of the vineyard where Les Pensées is made.
The unique ensemble of grape varieties and the priceless genetic heritage must also be evoked, having the vineyard planted with equal parts of Bouchet (old vine Cabernet Franc) and Merlot.

Chȃteau Lafleur is celebrated for its power, finesse, complexity, and ability to age gracefully. The consistent quality and rarity have established the estate as one of the most prestigious and coveted producers in the Bordeaux region.

Known for its commitment to traditional winemaking techniques, the Guinaudeau family employs meticulous vineyard management practices for all six crus of the Société Civile du Château Lafleur: Château Lafleur and Les Pensées in Pomerol and Les Perrières, Les Champs Libres, Château Grand Village red and white produced in Grand Village in Mouillac.
The Guinaudeau’s philosophy revolves around producing wines that are a true reflection of the terroir and the vintage.
